Conceptual Project Vision
Illustrative site plans and characteristics describing Gunnison Rising are included in this resubmission. In no way should these plans and illustrations be construed as a final subdivision layout, or final architectural design. This information is presented only to convey the intent of and direction for land uses shown on the master plan.
For purposes of providing more detail, the entire development has been broken onto four distinct areas:
- Area One focuses on the Commercial and Residential Village development as well as, the Business and Research Park adjacent to Gunnison.
- Area Two is the residential development north of Cemetery Ditch to south of the Contour trail.
- Area Three covers the Recreational Resort.
- Area Four is the proposed Developing Resource Zone with residential, limited commercial and industrial development sites.
With each area the proposed development is conceptually illustrated including sketches, character images, and the intended treatments for architecture, landscaping, and treatment for the Highway 50 corridor.
